This is the last weekend that our roadside produce stand will be open. We will be open daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 7). On Tuesday, Sept. 8, we will close the stand and the farm to all visitors (including photographers) as we prepare to re-open Sept. 19 for Snead’s Farm Heirloom Pumpkin Picking this fall. Stay tuned for more information on that. We are working to create a safe, healthy and fun experience for families with our pumpkin-picking this year, and it will look different from what we have done in years past.
Sunflowers are in full bloom. You can visit the fields and pick your own ($1 per stem) with your farm admission of $5 per person (ages 2 and under free). Want to know what else there is to do at the farm? Check out our illustrated map here.
Here’s what’s at the stand now:
- Sugar ‘n’ spice sweet corn (We are selling this by the ear, by the dozen and by the bushel.).
- Tall tunnel tomatoes.
- Ginger gold apples.
- Blackberries.
- Raspberries.
- Pie pumpkins.
- Free-range eggs.
- Local honey.
