Welcome to the peak of summer! The hot weather has sent our melons into overdrive, and we are picking peaches, berries, corn and other summer favorites for you to enjoy at our roadside stand. We are open daily 9-6, and we take cash, check and all major credit cards.
Here’s what’s fresh at the stand this week:
- Seedless watermelons
- Sugarbaby watermelons
- Superstar cantaloupe
- Sugar ‘n’ spice sweet corn (at $20 per bushel, this is a great deal)
- Tall-tunnel, vine-ripened tomatoes
- Red plums
- Yellow plums (you have to try these)
- Tree-ripened peaches
- Blackberries
- Raspberries
- Yellow and green summer squash
- Free-range eggs
- Snead’s Farm honey
- New potatoes
Also, a reminder that we are now selling partial-year CSA memberships. July members are already enjoying their weekly boxes. If you are interested in a membership that would include pickups in August and October (a quadruple box that includes our pumpkins), learn more here.
