CSA members may come to the farm on Wednesday, June 10, and Saturday, June 13, between 9 a.m. and noon to enjoy the farm and pick-your-own farm produce.
Each membership may pick up to 8 quarts of sugar snap peas and 6 half pints on raspberries on Wednesday, and another 6 half pints of raspberries Saturday. Sugar snap peas will have finished their season by Saturday—so be sure to get them Wednesday!
If you haven’t come out to pick yet, here’s how it works:
- Stop at the roadside stand when you arrive at the farm.
- Check in with your name. You will be handed your containers for picking and you will be given directions to the fields.
- Enjoy picking and playing on the farm!
Kitchen Ideas
- How to freeze your sugar snap peas so you can enjoy them after the season is over!
- I have fond memories of eating homemade raspberry butter on Eggo waffles as a kid.
- Swap out the dates in this shaved snap pea salad for fresh raspberries, which pair beautifully with the goat cheese the recipe calls for.
