Pick-your-own opportunities this week:

 

CSA full members may pick 1 half pint raspberries at Snead’s Farm on Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon, and 8 orange jack-o-lantern size pumpkins and 12 sunflowers at Snead’s Farm on Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m to 5:30 p.m.

**Please note that if you pick a Tarzan-sized pumpkin, or a multi-colored pumpkin, you will need to pay full price for these before exiting the farm.

 

**Fun Things to Do on the Farm**

CSA members and their families can enjoy free admission to the farm’s Fall Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 4. This includes free unlimited hayrides, Mountain Slides, the Whispering Pines Maze, Learning Shed, creek and chickens, horses, goats, sheep and donkey. CSA members may also receive 1 free pumpkin cupcake per membership from the Pälzer Mädel food vendor station, and 1 free sample of Appalachian Kettle Korn. Members may bring a picnic lunch on Wednesday.
